Based at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Allentown Productions is a film and TV production company. With a long list of credits in documentary filmmaking, the company has now grown to include development of scripted material in all sorts of genres.

Allentown Productions was started by James Moll, who was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania – hence, the name of the company. His work as a documentary director/producer has earned numerous awards including the Academy Award®, two Emmy Awards®, the Peabody Award, Edward R. Murrow Award, Cable Ace, and the Christopher, among others.

In addition to his work in film, James Moll is Founding Executive Director of Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in 1994 to collect and preserve more than 50,000 testimonies of Holocaust survivors. The archive now operates from the University of Southern California as The USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
